Environmental Sustainability

We aim to serve core thematic areas to include the socio-economic empowerment of women and youth, community dialogue, civic engagement, renewable energy, and WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene). Human rights, gender equity, and environmental sustainability serve as crosscutting principles that inform all our interventions.

Strategic Priorities Include:

Empower communities through long-term investment in local people in five key thematic areas:

  • Socio-economic empowerment of marginalized groups, including women and girls

  • Green Economy and climate change adaptation

  • Environmental conservation and promotion of environmentally sustainable practices, including water governance

  • Civic Engagement of Women, Youth, and Marginalized Groups

  • Community dialogue, conflict resolution and Human rights

  • Solid Waste Management

All activities are in line with international standards and conventions, putting special focus on human rights, poverty reduction, women’s empowerment, and environment as crosscutting themes.
